  1. Running really isn’t the best weight loss exercise. On average most people only burn 100-115 calories per mile. However running is good because runners actually burn more calories at rest than most people do. So it will raise your metabolism, which in turn makes you hungrier, when you really don’t need to eat again. WITH proper nutrition it can be helpful for weight loss, but that is after you are going for long runs.Running by itself tones and makes? your body work more efficient.
