Be so kind and share the knowledge!

Now that the summer has come and gone, people start packing up their boats and closing their pools and putting away their flip flops, and basically ridding their lives of everything that makes the summer season completely relaxing.

But summer vacation really shouldn’t be the only time that we spend significant portions of our days off relaxing – even as the temperature drops and the leaves turn to fall, there are still wonderful ways to relax and enjoy the season. Here are just a few autumn relaxation tips to get you started on the path to purely blissful weekends this fall season.

5 Autumn Relaxation Tips Worth to Try

    1. Take a Weekend Getaway Visit

Spend the weekend sipping champagne with a loved one, taking bubble baths and gazing out the windows, or even climbing the mountains to take photos that you’ll be able to cherish forever.

You’ll return home feeling as relaxed and rejuvenated as you would if you had gone on a weekend beach getaway.

    2. Enjoy a Hot Stone Massage

Great autumn relaxation tips hot stone massageAs the temperature begins to drop and the rays of natural sunshine just don’t seem to feel quite as warm as they had all summer long, staying warm will become a big part of your autumn relaxation routine. How good does it feel to cuddle up with a blanket, a cup of hot cocoa and a book by a warm fire in the fall and winter months?

Well, take that feeling one step farther and enjoy the truly relaxing experience of receiving a hot stone massage – perfect for autumn relaxation. The massage therapist lays heated stones in strategic places along your spine or the rest of your body in this massage practice, and the heat feels like it’s radiating through to your bones in the most pleasant and relaxing manner.

Plus, the massage will feel as wonderful and relaxing as ever!

    3. Visit an Apple Farm

autumn relaxation tips applesA simple day trip to an apple farm where you can pick apples and sip on cider can be a great way to spend some relaxing time with some family and friends while enjoying the wonderfully cool weather that often comes along with the fall!

Find a farm near you, or take a day to drive to one that’s a few hours outside of where you live. Make sure you pick the apples that you buy, and purchase some cider while you’re there, too, and maybe even some cider donuts! Take all of your goodies home and whip up some hot homemade apple crisp, and enjoy it by the fire.

You’ll be so relaxed after a fun day like this that you won’t even know what to do with yourself – which is totally fine, because the end of this kind of day is specifically for doing absolutely nothing!

    4. Get a Mani/Pedi with the Girls

autumn relaxation tips pedicureSo many people think that manicures and pedicures are just big summertime fads that go away as the cool air starts drying out the skin on our hands and feet and make them look “ugly” anyway. Why bother getting a mani/pedi in the fall and winter?

For several reasons, actually. First of all, going for a mani/pedi with a big group of girlfriends is a really fun way to spend some autumn relaxation time.

Secondly, many people wear sandals all through the fall – granted, they may be a bit heavier duty and probably cover more of the foot – but peep-toe shoes and chunky sandals can be big throughout the fall, so why not show off beautifully pedicured toes? And your fingers are always visible, and the extra dry skin on your hands during the colder months could just be used as extra  justification for getting a pampered manicure!

    5. Go On a Golf Outing with the Boys

There are tons of great, beautiful golf courses across the country, but in the fall, head somewhere that you know has beautiful scenery and the potential for some great fall foliage. As if golf isn’t already relaxing enough, the cool air of the fall coupled with the brightly colored scenery will make for an ultra-relaxing experience this time of year!
