You don’t want to wake up wishing it was still the middle of the night and you’re just in a bad dream. There’s some things you can do to feel alive in the morning. You will sleep much easier than you do now and you’ll be able to face the world without a huge mug of coffee. Let’s have a look at some cool things you can start incorporating into your life to feel alive in the morning.
How to Feel Alive in the Morning
1. Pushing Yourself to the Limits
There’s a difference between high intensity exercise and going for a little stroll down the park. Your little stroll will maybe get you away from home for a while, but it’s not going to make that much difference to your life. If you train your heart out you will be a lot more tired at night and will sleep much better than you have in a long time. Better sleep will help you to feel alive in the morning. Before you start any high intensity exercise you should make sure you’ve had the OK from your doctor.
2. Cut Out Energy Drinks
You shouldn’t have to rely on energy drinks to keep your eyes open throughout the day. There’s already lots of health risks associated with consuming these. It’s not like they go easy on the sugar, but everything else they put in them could stop you from getting to sleep at night. You’re probably not going to like this, but you should maybe cut out coffee after lunchtime too.
3. Have a Mini-nap
There’s a reason why some countries have a siesta and it’s not because they are lazy. They know that having a little nap during the day can make you much more sharp in the afternoon. This is something you’ll only be able to do if you run your own business unless you want to convince your boss to let you sleep during the day.
4. Take Some Supplements
There’s lots of natural supplements that can help you sleep better and feel alive in the morning. You’ll still need to speak to your doctor before you take anything, but because they’re natural they shouldn’t be a problem. If you’re going to go down the supplement route you don’t want to take them forever. You shouldn’t come to rely on them, but they are great to take every once in a while when you’re going through a difficult patch.

This is one you might not do at the moment. That’s to switch off all electronic equipment about an hour before bed. It gives your mind a chance to unwind and having a rest from staring at the screen helps. This means computers and televisions. If you want to do something productive before bed you should read a good book. You’ll get a better sleep and become smarter at the same time.
6. Start to Meditate
This one is the king, but it’s also a challenge because you have to learn how to meditate. If you can practice before bed it’s guaranteed to make you feel great and let you sleep much easier. You only need to do it for about 15 minutes to let all the unwanted thoughts escape from your mind. It should only take you a few weeks before you get good and see some benefits from it.
