Tired feet from distance walking is an everyday pain. Get a basin with warm water and submerge your feet in it for a few minutes. Move your feet against each other to feel the friction. You can do this while listening to good music or watching TV. Wipe them dry and with a little foot lotion, you can start massaging those feet.
Start from the sole as this gets the most stress while walking. Give it a relaxing press from the toes to the side of your ankle. Start massaging your toes. Extend each toe using your hand and twist it slowly. Form a fist with your hands and press you knuckles to the side of your ankle. Do this slowly with a little pressure.
Move up to your legs up to the knee and start putting pressure. Gently move your hand up and down. Again, make a fist then rub your legs gently. This time, as you reach the back of your knee cap, try adding more pressure than usual. Move your fist down to your foot then massage it.
With both hands, self-massage your foot from the sole to your knee. Twist your legs slowly and let it rest on a bench. Do the same to the other foot.
The most deprived part of your body on weekdays is the back. That is why it deserves a good self-massage during weekends.
Get a chair with a back rest. Keep feet sturdy on the floor and hands relaxed on the side. Lean your back slowly. Move sideways slowly then put more pressure as you lean. For a better relaxation, you can get a towel. Steam the towel and when it is done, put it at your back as you lean. Make sure that the warmth is tolerable.
Afterwards, you can turn the towel into a ball then place it at the bottom part of your back. Lean slowly. Do this repeatedly with care.
Half of the weight of your responsibilities is carried by your shoulders as it carries the things you need for work.
Now, give back.
Sit on a chair with your stomach in and your chest out. Twist your shoulders clockwise slowly. In every interval of this procedure, as you twist them backwards, pause for 3 seconds to feel the pressure more. Move your shoulders back and forth. Gently, place your hands on your shoulders and massage them softly moving up to your nape. To feel the relaxation better, you can add oil as you massage your shoulders.
