2. Get the ideal recommended amount of sleep
Headache from oversleeping is due to the imbalance of serotonin and neurotransmitters in the brain. Oversleeping also disrupts your sleep cycle, making it more difficult for you to sleep the following day and giving you a headache in the morning. Getting too much sleep could lead to more severe types of headaches like migraines, which cause the arteries in the head to swell and expand – making you feel nauseous and a throbbing pain.
To prevent this, it is best to sleep for 8 hours, or for a recommended number of hours depending on your age and lifestyle. Train yourself to sleep at a fixed bed time and wake up at a certain time in order for your body to get used to your sleeping schedule. Also, try your best to practice the same sleeping time during the weekends that you do on weekdays.
3. Lavender oil
Lavender oils have a very soothing and relaxing aroma that help to relieve mild headaches and migraines. 7. Mint juice
